1 Min Read

The Deck and Setup

  • Deck: Single 52-card deck.
  • Layout: Seven tableau piles, a foundation, and a stockpile.

  • Build four foundation piles, one for each suit, in ascending order from Ace to King.

  1. Setup: Lay out seven tableau piles with increasing cards from one to seven, top card face up.
  2. Stockpile: Remaining cards form the stockpile, turned over one or three cards at a time to the waste pile.
  3. Building Tableau: Cards on tableau built down in alternating colors.
  4. Moving Cards: Move cards or sequences to other tableau piles or foundations.
  5. Foundation Piles: Start each foundation with an Ace and build up in the same suit.

  • Game won by completing all foundation piles.

  • Expose face-down cards and empty tableau spaces strategically.
  • Prioritize longer sequences and moves that open up hidden cards.

Solitaire is a game of patience and strategy, providing a challenging yet relaxing experience.
