Spit, also known as Speed, is an exhilarating two-player card game focused on quick reflexes and sharp observation. Here’s how to play:
- Each player gets a deck of 26 cards.
- Players simultaneously place the top four cards in front of them, then one in the middle, face-up, to form the Spit piles.
- Players race to add cards from their hand to the Spit piles in numerical order, either ascending or descending (e.g., 5 on 4 or 7 on 8).
- When stuck, both players flip a new card from their stockpile to the center, continuing the game.
- The first to deplete their stockpile wins.
