Fish, also known as Go Fish, is a popular card game for kids and adults alike. Here’s a quick guide on how to play Fish card game.
Setup
- Number of Players: 2-6
- Deck: Standard 52-card deck
- Objective: Collect the most sets of four matching cards
Instructions
- Deal 5 cards to each player. Place the remaining cards face down to form the “fish pond”.
- Players take turns asking any opponent for specific cards to complete their sets. For example, “Do you have any threes?”
- If the opponent has the card, they must hand it over. If not, they say “Go Fish”, and the player draws a card from the fish pond.
- If a player draws the requested card, they get another turn. Otherwise, the next player takes their turn.
- A set of four matching cards is placed face up in front of the player.
- The game continues until all sets are completed. The player with the most sets wins.
