Spit, also known as Speed, is a fast-paced card game for two players. Here’s a quick guide to get you started:
- Setup: Each player gets 26 cards and arranges them into five piles in front of them: the first pile has one card, the second has two, and so on until the fifth pile with five cards. The top card of each pile is face-up while the rest are face-down.
- Gameplay: Both players simultaneously flip over the top card of their remaining stack to form two spit piles in the middle. Players must quickly play cards from their face-up piles onto the spit piles based on ascending or descending order, regardless of suit.
- Aim: Be the first to get rid of all your cards. If no more plays are possible, both players say “spit” and add a new card to the spit pile from their deck.
